VIP Golf owns thousands of corporate memberships at our partnered venues. As a VIP Golf Member, you have access to our vault of memberships, and we essentially lease one to you for the day and course you want to play for a fee. This fee, or PREFERRED VIP MEMBER green fee, is your payment for the course. Once you have reserved a green fee with us, you will show your ID at check-in, and away you go. All payments are made through your personal VIP Golf account.
The actual tee time is booked directly with the course, just as you always have. Once you have reserved a green fee through VIP Golf, you call or book your tee time online with the course as a public player. This procedure is all done through your VIP Golf app. Simply log into your account, select a course, and follow the prompts to complete a payment reservation with us, and secure a tee time with the course.
You can play with whoever you choose, member or not. If you are playing with non-VIP golf members, you only need to reserve your green fee or payment through us. As always, the course tee time will be booked for the number of players in your group. Nonmembers will simply pay the regular fare at check-in, and you will just flash your ID. Again, your payment for the preferred rate you receive is collected through your VIP Golf Account.
If you are joining a group or already have a tee time, that’s NO PROBLEM! Simply go to your VIP Golf account and reserve a Green Fee with us for the course and day you plan to play. Once booked our system asks if you have a tee time already or if you need to make one, click “I have a tee time” and enter the time booked into your app. Easy!
YES! One member may complete the reservations with VIP Golf for all members. Once you join, you can build your friend list, which will allow you access to the book for them, making the process seamless for you and your buddies. All members are charged to their own account individually for their golf. Once bookings are made each member is notified via email and or app notifications.
YES! The member who initiated the booking may return anytime before the cancelation time frame and cancel or swap out players. Once the cancelation deadline has passed, any players you may want to be swapped out can call our booking center. Cancellation of players will only be accepted before the allowed deadline.
Our standard cancelation policy is before 5 pm, one day prior to a booking. However, this may vary from course to course based on their tee time cancelation deadline. Many are moving to 48 hours, and some resort-style courses require 72 hours. All this information is available to you when selecting and booking a venue. No, the golf courses do not hold Tee Times aside. You are booking Tee Times directly with the course as public players; whatever is available on the tee sheet when booking is also available to you.
Some courses do, and others do not. VIP Golf is bound by the number of players each course allows us to send on a daily basis. Our course spots are given away on a first-come, first-serve basis based on the advanced booking window offered. Once a course allocation is full on a given day, that course is closed, and our booking members must select a different venue.
Some courses do have weekend restrictions that can affect the rate offered, such as different rates before and after noon. At these venues, there will be a premium payment for “PrimeTime Play,” which will still reflect savings, however not as deep as the weekend off-peak or weekday tee times do.
YES! We offer several events throughout the season, which take place in the Bow Valley and the pristine courses of Banff and Canmore, Alberta. These events are open to you and any nonmember guests you want to invite. The special preferred member rate is even offered to your guests for these events.
